Governance in the Covalent Network system.

Covalent provides a unified API bringing visibility to billions of blockchain data points.

Now, we will be educating on covalent governance via it's access and while we are on that we would briefly discuss:

What is the Covalent Network?
One of my favorite things is watching movies and growing up I have been fascinated by the Harry Potter series.

I mean, I loved it so much for so many reasons, the creativity, and the Imagination behind it all as a whole and more.

And as you would have guessed with my favorite character being Harry, He could communicate with snakes in a language called “parcel-tongue” and also understand what snakes say.

Looking at it though, it’s almost similar to what Covalent Network does but, in this case, Covalent is like a global co-op for blockchain data with the efficient provisioning of deep, granular, and historical blockchain data accessed through a unified API.

It allows validators across the globe to act as points of presence (PoP) that will be rewarded for serving query requests from data consumers for their end-users.
With the internet being an endless well of riches in information Covalent would use what could easily be explained as information that's more in-depth than the typical base forms.

It has a query that helps validate and or restrict both unwanted information and vice versa.
Bear in mind though in the present age of technology and the growth of electronic cash and NFTs and decentralized finance (DeFi), Covalent aims to offer easy access to deep blockchain data, meaning it will be a solution to solve troubles like ;

✅Speed
✅No diversity
✅Cost
✅Incomplete data

Covalent Network being a decentralized code database for blockchain data aims to be a reliable source for information with a unified API, It is also governed by the Covalent Query Token (CQT).

Introduction to Application Programming Interface.

As expected for every great creation there’s always a backup story to it, so to start on what brought the age of APIs here.

The journey started in the 2000s with Salesforce being the first on the 7th of February, Its API was launched officially at the IDG Demo 2000 conference. Salesforce was an enterprise-class that provides customer relationship management service and also provides a complementary suite of enterprise applications focused on customer service, marketing automation, analytics, and application development.

But from down the line APIs progressed from online marketplaces like eBay, Amazon to social media like Flickr and Facebook.

In clearer form in order not to confuse, APIs are intermediary software that allows 2 applications to interact with each other.

Another would explain it as the code that governs the access point of the server, a server here would mean, a computer or computer program which manages access to a centralized resource or service in a network.

So how then does a centralized resource work and blockchain go together?

What is the Covalent Query Token (CQT)?
The native token of the Covalent system is governance and staking token, the purpose of this feature in the system has already been stated earlier where we defined governance.
